1) Are all of the tubes in the 36" line the same? Am I correct in assuming that if I use my receiver to s-video switch that the comb filter is being bypassed? I would therefore not need either sound nor comb filter. i.e. are there any picture differences with my setup between the 36FS12 and the 36FV26?
2) How are the geometry problems fixed? Is it by service manual or does it require a Sony repairman? I would say that at least 2/3 of all demo TVs I've seen have tilts and/or warpage of the picture.
I'm just trying to be cost effective :)
