Why not just watch an anamorphic picture with the black horizontal bars on a 4:3?***Anamorphic DVDs (most are anamorphic releases these days) have increased vertical resolution (when your set can unsqueeze them). The increase in picture quality is more than just noticeable. This is a must have feature, and if I were you, I wouldn't even consider a set that doesn't have this feature.
