The cal has analogue bypass, 24/96 DAC's, with all the regular trimmings. Is also only a audio processor and has no video circuitry (they sell a video switched if you desire), which alleviates many of the incompatabilities of having video and audio side by side. Comes standard with a Pronto remote too, which was a nice little perk. Widescreen review had a glowing review of it, playing it ahead of the Proceed AVP (another excellent product).Thanks,
