Sure an extra "0" hasn't crept in ?Haven't seen the Panasonic but have seen the latest Fujitsu PDS-4222 42" and it is superb.
1024 x 1024 rez., HDTV ready.The *very best* CRT's still out-perform it but the Fujitsu is now competitive and appears capable of real blacks.
Just checked out the Panasonic (TH-42PWD3 ? ) at www.goplasma.co.uk, and they really do list a 3000:1 contrast ratio.
Sheeeeeesh that's eyeball searing, paint stripping !
Resolution is a rather unimpressive 852 x 480 pixels.
