I have a Marantz preamp/processor from a couple years ago and I like the way it sounds. Basically, I want to keep it. Now, I want to add HDTV and DVD. The question is this: I am assuming that the a/v processor needs to have a CERTAIN BANDWIDTH in order for it to be used with an High Definition (1024x768) image. I very much doubt that the processor I have possesses such wide bandwidth. Is there any way I can still keep it and feed the picture straight into the projector? Is that what video switching is all about? or do i need to get a new a/v processor?
Thanks
