The last time I heard was Philips should release it in October but price should be around 2K instead of 1K! Dell also joined the DVD+RW group and will be releasing some PC with DVD+RW drives. The 4 hours mode is much much better than VCR and also a 1 hour mode for direct IEEE1394 transfer from DV recorders.JCW
