One thing to remember when dealing with subs. If you plan to build a false wall for your components and build the sub within the wall, which I did, you'll want to go with a direct firing sub, not a floor firing sub. If the sub will be out in the room somewhere, then it really doesn't matter *although a floor firing sub does interact with a wooden floor nicely vs a sub placed on a slab foundation.
