This sounds very, very odd, as Tributaries makes some of the most highly regarded video cables on the market. I upgraded from some inexpensive Monsters to 2 meters of SCVC ($300), and the difference was astonishing. Everything got better; if I had to put a number on improvement, I'd say 15%. I'd return them and get another set, as something is clearly wrong.
