Re: DTS caution

Thanks very much for the response. I don't have a receiver (just a preamp plus a couple amps), but I will still run a set of analog outputs to the back of the preamp for those times when I can enjoy a movie at louder levels. I'm hoping sound will be much better than what I'm currently doing by running a cable from my TV to the preamp, then from a full-bandwidth preamp output to my headphone amp. The sound then is not too good. I'd like something to plug into directly. I am still considering getting a cheap DVD player since I'm sinking a lot of $$ into a CD53 CD player, new power conditioner & power cable, and new RCA connector cables.
