7 is too many, so is 5,4, and 3. Just won't work, wouldn't hear a thing besides the subs. So... look at one or two really good subs. Find stephens review of rel subs on this website. That would be a great place to start.
Expect the sub to excite the resonance of your room This can be a real problem, even worse are nulls (where a sound wave cancels itself out).
