Looking at the clips, I was going to pass it, thinking it is another-shoot em-up western, complete with burning Conestoga wagons.

Costner has been pushing this film like beer at a ballgame. In fact he sat in the broadcast booth for an inning at the Negro League Celebration game, hawking it.
