In Reply to: I have HEARD of a video of Claude Lelouche driving his ferrari through the streets of Paris posted by Dmitry on March 01, 2004 at 20:45:00:
I have seen it; I have a suspicion that some, but not all, of this is "speeded up" with the V-12 dubbed over as the movement of the car and gear changes didn't quite synch with the engine sound
But hey, if you were a flash filmmaker with a Ferrari, and wanted to "show off" with a home movie, you would probably do the same, right?
Speaking of filmmakers with Ferraris, I gave a hitchhiking Roger Donaldson (Cocktail, Dantes Peak) a ride to the gas station when his Red 308 was broken down beside the road in the late 1980's (Hi Roger! Get a Horse!!)
A magazine editor in Tokyo recreated the LeLouche experience in the early 1990s, also in a Ferrari, and after his rag published a fisheye photo of the happy scribe with the speedo showing 230km/hr, with the Shuto expressway in soft focus in the background, he was arrested and got a 6 month jail sentence....
Art for arts sake...

Seen it and no, it's not speeded up.It's riveting and very controversial. There's a couple of very close calls, even though it was shot at about 4:45AM. Many people consider the idea of making this film the ultimate in anti-social behavior. Personally, I love it.
do a search, i've seen the dvd, but only the pal version.
