I like the "shallow, yet demented" line, Clark, and agree.
However, I'm going to take a wait and see attitude with Deadwood...and I will definitely see it next Sunday.

Good point on Keith C. as Wild Bill. I also thought Ian McShane (Lovejoy of Brit TV) added a nice touch of evil to the proceedings.

The swearing was just so ovrr the top, it has to have been the writer's intent to parody this way of speaking.
