Yeah, I liked this movie a lot too, for a lot of the same reasons.
The sense of solitude was terriffic. I believe there is a 40 minute stretch with no dialogue.
So many "wings" metaphors . . .
The ambiguous, somewhat downbeat ending, so rare in Hwood movies anymore.
