And is it a fully automatic process? If you take film and try to turn it automatically into a form for display on a digital projector, the colors are going to be wrong. Manual tweaking is crucial to the process.Then again, the term "digitally remastered" could mean just about anything these daze.

Just read about it. They put it back on film, not a digital projector. That's reasonable.
By didgitally mastering they can then clean up a film, especially an old damaged classic.
