My personal prejudices run wild when it comes to that pre-teen heart throb. Hate his voice most of all. He cannot play adult roles as yet.So, much for that. Ever seen Frank Abagnale? He looked like he was thirty when he was seventeen. That's how he got away with everything.
To me Walken was the highlight.

I pretty much agree with all you said. The real Frank is featured in the extras and he was on the set as an advisor. He says he never drank or smoked but he sure knew how to attract women. And yes, Walken as usual makes the most of a small role and turns that cream into butter.
