Where do other videophiles go to read reviews of DVD movie releases?Sometimes I am replacing an older copy, and I am curious whether the video and/or audio is improved, etc.
I have gotten some info from www.rottentomatoes.com, but that is more of a movie review site than a DVD review site. Any help would be appreciated.
Follow Ups:
i like dvdfile.com. their reviews give a lot of thought to the video and audio quality of discs, they cover a lot of releases, and they get the scoop on new releases before other websites i check out. their review archives can be a bit frustrating to navagate through, though.
Widescreen Review is notorious for emphasizing only the technical aspects of DVD issues (picture and sound) to the detriment of content (only a brief plot or story summary is given). To get to the reviews, however, you must subscribe to their on line magazine.
