Quiet a few times this film hase benn talk about, and I have seen it a long time ago, so I had to refresh my senses.
Starting in Moscow or Paris, at first it was just the same, the Seine or the Wolga?
Just jocking. This film is very modern, the images strong, the actors very sensitives, but it failed to move me as I remember it once did.
Still better than most.
Follow Ups:
"Quiet a few times this film hase benn talk about..." - for heaven's sake! I will kill that lousy Macintosh and its klaviature! Please, don't think it was me or my own - it's HE HIMSELF, playing its bad jokes with letters, grammar, ortography, with me innocent.. .... And: SHAME ON YOU, Mr.X., who doesn't trust in my abilities!!!!!!!
I recently watched both this one and Ballad Of A Soldier. I think Ballad was the more powerful of the two, but Cranes was beautiful & touching in its own way.The production & lighting on Cranes was phenomenal---almost every scene came alive on screen.
