Perhaps the last movie that I'll be seeing for a very long time. At least with my wife. That's a whole other thread. Would never have thought this type of movie would work. Character driven, very long provoative coversationsal scenes, with only two charcaters: Closer, works. Hard thing to do in film, without a cut, or throwing in some action or other characters. Closer is the type of movie that would be even better on the second viewing. Ooodles of stuff going on in that screenplay. Natalie Portman was drop dead amazng and the (forgot his name) lead male (not Jude Law) was an Oscar caliber performance. He was in the England, theatre version playing the same part. It's no wonder he brought something extra to that role. Yeah, it was a bit long. Aren't they all. Scene at strip club: very hot and powerful. One of the best in the movie. check this baby out...peace, warre
