Title of old Glen Ford movie about airliner crash?

Years ago as a youngster I remember watching this old movie on TV.
It starred Glen Ford. In this movie a jet liner crashes and the rest of the film is about people trying to solve the mystery as to why the jet crashed. I'm guessing this film was made in the early 1960's.
Have not seen this movie on TV since then, 25-30 years ago.
Anyone know this film & its title???
I was about 12 or 13 and I do remember being fascinated by this film...I'd love to see it again but don't know what to look for since I don't know the title.

Also starring Rod Hunter, Wally Cox & Suzanne Pleshette. This good film comes from the outstanding novel by author/pilot Ernest Gann-Also the author of "The High & The Mighty, another excellent flyer novel/pix.
