Romantic and horrific. Quest for a loved one, declared killed in the meatgrinder of the WW1 trench warfare. A mystery story with beautiful scenics contrasted with the realistic grimness and scariness of the reality of war.
Quite a bit edgier than Amelie from the same star. Not a cliche.
