always a pleasure to watch a movie with a good script, creative execution and just plain outstanding acting. One would think a movie centered around a quadraplegic wanting to die would be depressing but, this one takes so many detours discovering relationships and human spirit that it pretty much bypasses doom and gloomville. Of course that doesn't mean it escapes it altogether. This movie is like a good book that one just can not put down. If Alejandro Amenabar keeps this level of work up he will go places.
