"Our Mother's House" was shown on TCM (US) about a year or a year and a half ago. I saw it and, like you, was blown away by it.
I was surfing the satellite and came across TCM. I checked the program guide to see what was coming on in the next five minutes.I was unaware of its existance and its premise seemed enticing. Also, I admire director Jack Clayton. His "The Innocents" is one of the most sensitive films ever made about children and the supernatural.I've sent TCM emails, on occasion, requesting they screen it again. So far, nothing. Let's keep requesting it; they will have to program it eventually. And let's beat the drum for a DVD release!
By the way, the music soundtrack has been released on cd in a limited edition of 3000.

Thanks for the suggestion! I was starting to think I was alone in my appreciation for the film!Even though I only saw it once or twice in my early-to-mid teens, I can still remember images and sequences...Bogarde playing with the children, the second-oldest girl clearly in ecstacy...the final shot of the film....I agree, Clayton has a real gift with children and serious subjects. A shame we do not have more films from him.
