...has to do with the way most American actors are trained. I think the Method, for example, really had a bad effect on film acting.One thing I hate is going to the movies and thinking, "Hey, Mr. Movie Star is really acting here." You shouldn't see the acting.
European-schooled actors just seem to be able to disappear into characters better. A generalization, I know.

...there seems to be a problem with overexposure for some stars. What's interesting is some of the names NOT showing up: Robert DeNiro, Johnny Dep for example.
