It is hard to recommend that 1994 André Téchiné - saw it for the second time two days ago.I suppose it is for "coming of age" film lovers. That genre seems to have its own set of rules and favorite cliche's, and Wild Reeds is no exception. And apart from good performance by Élodie Bouchez not much else sticks in your memory.
Still, if you love that sort of movies, you might find it pleasant and almost interesting... albeit quite familiar.
