Numerous omissions, numerous dubious choices. For example, Young Frankenstein is on the list (rightfully so), but the film that was its primary inspiration (Bride of Frankenstein, arguably the best of the Universal horror films) is not.Wise Blood? The Way We Were? Beverly Hills Cop? California Suite? Desperately Seeking Susan? High Art? Jerry Maguire? Risky Business? GMAB!
In the Western genre, Magnificent Seven and Shane ought to be on there.
Follow Ups:
I think lists like this are about creating discussion and then self promotion for the authors. All that said , I posted this link because it fascinated me that they got some so right - Sitting Pretty (1948) and then some so ,so wrong ... Jerry Maguire or the Wrath of Kahn (and I love Kirk/Shatner) wouldn't make my Top 1,000,000 !
