Really hard to pick, but I am partial to the ones on Jazz, the Roosevelts and baseball.
The recent PBS documentary on Reconstruction was just a rehash of The Civil War, told from a black perspective (Henry Louis Gates).
"Vietnam" was monumental, but I wouldn't count it among his best work.
