I did the same thing; having a region-free player opened up a new world for me. BTW...if you haven't seen "Get Carter," it's one of Caine's best. I'll bet you have, though! Nice Blu-ray transfer, Warner Archives disk.

I saw it at the drive-in on a date with my High School girlfriend when it came out.
