But then I like dumb comedy. My religion consists of watching 'Dumb and Dumber, The Big Lebowski, Laurel and Hardy,' and a few others once a year.

I recommend Reno 911 to anyone who likes dumb comedy. Also, I recommend The State, which was a comedy series in the mid 1990s created by the gang from NYU who created Reno 911.

P.S. SNL is mostly not funny IMHO. Prolly, the execs of NBC stifle much of the creativity at SNL.
