Is that intentional?
Pattinson is like Bale or Joaquim--- somewhat disturbing persona, a nervous and neurotic one.

The film is getting uniformly excellent Rotten Tomatoes ratings, usually an indicator of trust.

I've always found Batman to be the least interesting character in the Batman movies (kind of the straight man in a bizarre world). He sort of represents the vigilante we secretly wish to be. Pattinson plays it probably as well as it can be played.
