and fun.
Forgot how many roles Kinski was in pre Herzog... fame?... infamy?... stardom seems wrong.
Best fiend indeed.
Don't know German films (especially post war) that well so he's never
been veiwed as much here as Saxon.
Yeah, dump Elf, add Black Christmas and keep "Shop Around the Corner."
We actually bought SATC, one of maybe four movies purchased for streaming.

Thanks for recommending Shop Around the Corner. I had to look it up. Looks like a good one for xmas viewing with the wife.
Yeah, I'm no expert on German film. I found the German film trailer that I posted on the 3-disc set "All the Colors of Giallo". The blu-ray is chock full of giallo trailers. The included dvd contains 16 trailers for German "Krimi" films and a documentary explaining the genre (informative but boring). The third disc is a cd with soundtracks from two Italian giallo films and a theme from a third. It's a lot of content for the money, especially if you catch it on sale.
I include film trailers in my listening sessions. They're good segues when going from one music genre or artist to another. For example, when I get on an early rock and roll kick, I'll include the trailer for High School Confidential (and other juvenile delinquent flicks).

Kinski has a filmography as long as my arm. Saxon, who changed his name, has prolific output as well. I didn't know Saxon had Italian ancestry until I looked him up. Helps to explain how he wound up in so many Italian and other international projects.
