I'm a Boomer who never owned an Elvis record. So, I was surprised to learn Elvis met her in Germany when she was in the ninth grade! That's when the grooming began. The actress is very young looking and pulls it off easily. Coppola seems to have constructed a visual photo album showing scene after scene of Elvis crazy and Priscllla misery. The film was well dressed in late '50s/early '60s chic. When it ended I felt like I had eaten Chinese and was ready for a real meal.
