Yeah, this was actually better than the first effort. This sequel was gifted with a real plot concerning a singular family that had escaped the "virus" with their lives, 'cepting for their mum--who shows up later with a strange form of immunity.
Dad (Robert Carlyle), 12 year-old son, and hottie teenage daughter reunite in a still nearly deserted London to restart their lives. All's going well till the young "puppies" cross the bridge to "other London" to find their old home. They find Mum and bring her in where she will soon reunite with dad. It's not all sweet as one might expect.
Confession of a dirty old man: This movie was filled with teenage eye candy Miss Imogen Poots. (Yeah, I know, who wouldn't change their name over here.) Couldn't take my eyes off her. Mature world class looks for an 18 year old. Woof.
This is a must for zombie fans. A pretty good movie, otherwise, especially when you consider the Poots factor.

Complicit Constapo Talibangelical since MMIII
A family which also had a hottie teenage daughter. It may have been a nuclear attack though.
...to Incontinent Poots? Sorry, just a "Sandy Fagina" joke. She reminds me of the woman in the latest Doctor Who series.
