Toni Collette, Piper Laurie, and Mary Steenbergen are the bigger names in a very talented cast here. The story, told in five chapters, concerns the gradually intersecting stories of seven people somehow related to the dead girl, whose mutilated body is discovered early in the film. The acting is superb throughout and the characters relate in realistic ways. Director Karen Moncrieff also wrote the intricate screenplay.

I was not disappointed in the watching. Might consider seeing it again. Difficult story at the core but the Film was able to keep my interest which is really saying something with me,lol..
