high tech "dance" scenes sort people to drudgery

Can't remember who was in it or the name.
Fairly recent (since 2000?).
Series of high tech dance and movement sequences.
The "star" (or were there two stars, male and female?) of the showat the end of each sequence send some people off to a world of drudgery, the others get to stay and go on through more such sequences.
That's all I can remember of the movie.
