This is a largely handheld camera movie, a musical really about a busker in Dublin meeting a girl in the street and making music and falling in...well not so much falling in love but becoming able to love.
The busker is played by Glen Hansard of The Frames and the music is sensational. The film is touching and heartwarming and just about every similar term you can think of.
This is a very good film about music, filmed very close up and intimate.
People clapped. People smiled.
Very enjoyable indeed.
