Danny Boyle's science fiction film about scientists on a mission to reignite our dying sun has a lot of interesting philosophical, moral, and environmental premises in the first hour, but then it degenerates into an "Event Horizon"-like horrorfest. A missed opportunity for sci-fi greatness.
