Terrance Malick's other movie from recent times? I absolutely love his style of movie making. It has a dreamy, wandering quality.
TRL is one of my favourites as well.
Cheers. Doug
Follow Ups:
I just didn't relate to it like TRL. TNW did not get released in our market here in the swamp. It was heavily previewed but never distributed. I'm sure the "regional nobs" probably thought folks would walk out saying WTF and decided not show it.
Being a vet, I began to think about the images and thoughts and it made it a lot easier to relate.

Complicit Constapo Talibangelical since MMIII
... even if it didn't seem to get the big audiences here.
Yes, it is exactly what you would imagine, but is that disappointing?
Not for me.
It has the reverence for the
natural" world and the inevitable "fall" when the white man comes written through it.
But the opening had me rivetted as... well, if you have seen it then you know how it starts.
I liked it and am thinking of buying it.
Despite recent trends, I like to see films in the cinema. But I buy sparingly and hardly ever rent a DVD. In fact I don't belong to any rental store.
