Got bad marks because it was too lean; didn't spoon feed viewers with drivel. Having two Irish pricipals isn't at all far fetched based on the extent of Irish participation in the Civil War on both sides, except that Nieson's character was a farmer and that wouldn't fit the Irish immigrant template. In the old westerns, everyone in those Westrern towns was a Hank or Slim or Zeke. In fact they were more often Paddy, Hans, or Luigi.Don't taze me Bro!!
