Another somewhat depressing movie.....I must be on a suicide watch or something. I read several reviews that raved about the outdoor cinematography.....well, I dunno, but I thought the Alaska scenes were actually pretty bleak. As posted below, I also noted quite a resemblance to DeCaprio many times by the lead....is he a wannabe copycat, or just coincidence? Also, as mentioned below, Holbrook by far gave the best, albeit limited, performance. I quite liked the book, but the movie, while I'm glad I saw it, was just so-so.

Oh....drove both me and my son nuts not knowing what the one character got busted by the FBI. Did we miss something, and if not, why would Penn do this...actually kinda irritating
