Woody Harrelson was miscast. He seemed just goofy, like he'd wandered onto the set of the wrong film.
I imagine his being in white and Chigurh being in black had some sort of significance but, when one goes to the trouble of creating an allegory, it also behooves the artist to make it sensible. The archangel Gabriel he was not.
