Andre's question to Angel-a while discussing his inner qualities. A very funny line considering Andre is portrayed by French-Algerian comedian, Jamel Debbouze, and Angel-a by the 5'10'" Rie Rasmussen. It seems Andre is easily distracted into mischief and while doing his petty olive oil business in Paris ends up borrowing from various thugs to continue his partying. When it's time to pay, Andre ends up on a bridge ready to jump when he notices a tall blond ready to do the same just ten feet away. She jumps and Andre follows her to save her life. Thus begins a very strange relationship between an ordinary man (filled with loneliness, mischief, and despair) and the angel sent to straighten him out.
Luc Besson filmed this in glorious B&W and it works. The film is warm, funny, and touching as the story of Andre's chain-smoking angel (she can't smoke upstairs) gets him out of one scrape after another. Angela-A even turns tricks in a nightclub to earn debt money for Andre and often says how she's going to get fired when she get's back!
I really enjoyed this film. Light-hearted and touching it warms the soul through strange means.

Thanks for the comments. This one is due for release on DVD here in Australia in about a month and I've been wondering about it since it looked interesting and I've enjoyed the other couple of films I've seen from Besson. I think it just reached my "must see" list.
