Well, after watching it 6 times:

What was the reference to the killer returning to the scene of the crime?

The Eagle hotel is on the Texas side "of the river". So that is where Llewellyn Moss stays the night he finds the transponder, and gets in the shootout. That sit he HOTEL where the killing of the desk clerk happens. That is ALSO the hotel that Woody Harrelson stays at, so that's why it is SO BALLSY of Antone Shugar to come back to the same hotel where the night before he killed the desk clerk, to stalk Woody Harrelson.

Why would they link up there of all places -- fluke?

  were going? Why didn't Llewleny give her $100M and tell her to hire a limousine at the first stop of the bus, and go somewhere even he did not know about. Why did he not give her $50M to hire Pinkus or whatever, and get a couple armed bodyguards, tell them a jealous boyfirned is after her. Why.........
