Not a bad movie, and there were some beautiful period costumes right out of paintings at the Getty Museum.
Yet with both Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman there, I was hoping for more, far more. Eric Bana's Henry Tudor was so simple-minded and manipulable it was funny.
Entertainment value was along the lines of "Elizabeth" and "Girl with a Pearl Earring" I would say.
Follow Ups:
Portman wasn't quite as convincing, but she sure had her work cut out for her, especially with that script. Yikes. I don't think anyone decided who the "other" girl was. They were both given equal weight in the story.
-------------Call it, friendo.
Healthy advice: always go for the one with big tits.
