I watched The Proposition last night... someone watched some Bela Tarr I think and some Mel Gibson...lol.. I can see why a "God" might want to be done with us.. I've seldom seen humanity painted in less favorable light..As for technical merits of production and acting.. it was all too authentic and left me aching on the inside wondering how humanity ever made it this far... good too see David Gulpilil on film again..

I like him a lot. Did you catch the documentary on him? It showed how he still lives a tough life out in the boonies with many family members.

I think you might like the Aussie TV series "Bush Mechanics" - if you can find it get it. The DVD's are all region four.
