Rotten Tomatos gave Get Smart a 53 - late 07:14:34 06/30/08 (1)
I give it a 55. It's pleasant, it has moments, which it typically undermines
moments later with Mike Meyers schtick or clumsy directing.
If they lopped off several minutes of the over the top stuff,it would have been a real winner, for me anyway.

  the comedic gene, it seems.
  The male lead (couldn't be bothered with his name) is one-dimensional.
  The chemistry between the two was flat.
  Too much graphic violence for this to be funny, as well.
