This year most of the big budget summer action/adventure flicks have been disappointing as in not justifying their budgets. The problem is I don't see much coming out the rest of the summer that will turn this around. Then we need to wait for the holiday season flicks.

...summer films are usually big budget, mindless action flicks targeted to the kids who are out of school.

There have been some that were decent - Iron Man, WALL-E and Wanted come to mind.

The summer isn't half over yet - we still have the X-Files, Batman and many others to look forward to.

Seek out Indie films, they are better anyway
