Sadly, this fine movie is transferred with sound so muddy you can barely hear it. It's in French, maybe it doesn't matter if you don't speak French, but it totally ruins the movie for me. Easily the worst DVD transfer I've ever bought. Isn't someone (Criterion?) going to do this movie justice?
