For me, it was one of the best films I've seen in a very long time. The close made sense to me, in that it's a logical extension of the ruthlessness of DDl's character. And throughout, DDL walked a fine line between charming and repulsive - you're interested in him, starting to like him, and then, more than once, he does something dreadful.

...I didn't care for the film, although I appreciated DD Lewis' over the top acting.

The film, and the music, were too edgy and made me uncomfortable through most of it.

Perhaps that was the idea, but it wasn't a very pleasant experience.
