I found the movie frustrating, and a mixed bag. Some of the cinematography was absolutely stunning. I don't mean the travel scenery so much as the shots of the village. By the end I actually liked it a little more.
It was one of those films during which my wife and I looked at each other and said how bad the film was, then at the end both commented that it wasn't *quite* as bad as we though it was going to be. Not good enough to recommend it to anyone, or ever watch it again though!

I was irritated as if I understood correctly that should have played near Lyon?
Or the scenery was 100% Italian!
I mean between Lyon and Italy there must be something like more than 200 kilometres.
About 300 miles.
As for the film I watch at some good shoots at the beginning, but rather lost complete envy after the first half, if not for the lady wonderful... Breasts.
